GOOD INGREDIENTS AND GOOD ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES
Humana has access to milk from around 6,000 dairy farms for its baby food products, enabling us to trace from which cow the milk actually came. Milk is picked up from the farmer and processed as infant formula and cereal. The complex production process is monitored closely. For ingredients we do not ourselves, we carefully screen the suppliers, making sure our strict standards of quality are upheld. Humana baby food products are subject to the legal requirements of being preservative-free and not containing any artificial colors or flavors.
We consider the ingredients for our products to be a valuable gift from Mother Nature. Responsibly managing all resources and the environment is simply a matter of course for us. The production and marketing of our products are therefore environmentally friendly. For example, we use recycled paper and non-toxic inks for our packaging - out of love for our children and the generations to come.

QUALITY CONTROL
Our products are subjected to the most stringent quality and hygiene controls. There are no compromises when you work with baby food. Our goal is to continually improve how we manage the quality of our products. Any new recipes and changes to the recipes for Humana products must undergo a full-scale, in-house laboratory contents analysis before the product can be released for the first production run. Only when an external, certified laboratory confirms that the ingredient data are correct the recipe is approved and production may begin. This is how we practice quality control, with a voluntary commitment to quality that clearly goes above and beyond the legal standards.
